Established by Cresskill's first robotics team and first group of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Academy students in 2014, Family STEM Night is an annual, student-run event that invites families and younger members of the community to learn about the STEM field through experiments and other hands-on activities. High school student volunteers educate elementary students about the STEM field while actively engaging with them on an intimate level, and have a lot of fun in the process. Since its establishment in 2014, Family STEM Night has grown considerably in terms of volunteers, booths, sponsors, and participants. This is the team's main annual fundraiser, and the majority of our budget is earned from Family STEM Night.
